Two men were injured on Saturday during a robbery attempt in the Qasba Colony area in Orangi Town.
As the robbers attempted to flee after the incident, people tried to catch them. The robbers abandoned their motorcycle and escaped, prompting the crowd to set fire to the motorcycle.
The incident took place in Qasba Colony No 2.5 where Zain and Mubeen sustained bullet injuries. Both the victims were transported to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.
Police sources confirmed that upon confrontation by the public, the robbers fled the scene leaving their motorcycle behind. Subsequently, bystanders set fire to the abandoned vehicle.
Law enforcement officials said efforts had begun to apprehend the suspects and investigations are under way.
