Pervez Ashraf meets governor
LAHORE: Former PM Raja Pervez Ashraf met Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider here on Monday at Governor House.
In the meeting, political and overall situation of the country was discussed. Speaking on the occasion, Governor Saleem Haider said strengthening the incumbent government was the need of the hour for economic and political stability in the country.
He said all political parties, including the opposition, should play a positive role for the development and prosperity of the country. He said that he would establish better relations between the federation and the province and work for the improvement of the province and reforms in the universities.
Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said that Pakistan Peoples Party has always prioritised national security, honour and welfare of the people. He said that Pakistan Peoples Party would play its role for political stability in the larger interest of country.
