Helpline for measles patients set up at LGH
LAHORE:A special helpline has been established at Lahore General Hospital for the guidance of measles patients. Any citizen can contact medical staff at these phone numbers - 042-99268877, 042-99268816 from 8:00am to 8:00pm for guidelines.
Principal Ameer Uddin Medical College Prof Al-Fareed Zafar disclosed this while talking at the inauguration of helpline on Wednesday. MS Dr Faryad Hussain and other senior doctors were also present.
Prof Al-Fareed Zafar highlighted that on the instructions of CM Maryam Nawaz, medical facilities are being provided to people at their doorsteps. He emphasised that parents should protect their children from measles and ensure vaccines so that children develop immunity against the disease. He announced that training will be provided to the gynecology and pediatric doctors of Kasur Hospital.
