LAHORE:The administration of Lahore General Hospital has done away with the traditional manual procedure for giving appointment for MRI tests. Now a computerised token will be issued in the new system and patients will get their test appointment in a transparent manner on a first-come, first-served basis without any recommendation.

The new computerised system will eliminate all kinds of irregularities. In this regard, MS Dr Faryad Hussain said that the new procedure would make it easier for patients to undergo MRI test so that the people coming for treatment do not face any difficulty in the hospital and they see positive changes compared to the past.

He said that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has made Health sector her first priority. As a priority, far-reaching revolutionary measures have been taken in the province, the fruits of which have started reaching the people. He said that through these measures, patients and their families get relief at the threshold of their homes apart from hospitals. Chief Minister's Field Hospital Project and Clinic on Wheels has given birth to new traditions in the province with the innovation of service to the suffering humanity, the MS added.
