2 linemen electrocuted in Malakand

BATKHELA: Two linemen were electrocuted while working on a 220kV power line in Thana Baizai tehsil of Malakand district while another lineman sustained severe injuries.

The incident occurred in Charat village while the linemen were performing maintenance work on the high-voltage line. Fahad Khan and Khalid Khan lost their lives due to electric shock, while their colleague Imran was critically injured.

Rescue 1122 personnel responded promptly to the scene, but they could not save the lives of Fahad and Khalid.

The injured lineman Imran, along with the bodies of the deceased, were taken to Batkhela Hospital by the Rescue 1122 team.
