HARIPUR: A man was killed and six university students injured when a motor car collided with a loaded Suzuki van on Khanpur Road, police officials said here on Friday.
Officials of the Khanpur Police Station said that a recklessly driven motor car collided with a Suzuki van loaded with stones near Pind Muneem village. As a result, van driver, Ehtesham, died on the spot while two of his companions and four students of a local university sustained injuries.
The rescue workers shifted the body and injured to the Trauma Centre from where two injured students were shifted to Ayub Medical Complex Abbottabad. Those injured were identified as Arham, Nabeel, Abdul Rafeh, Waleed, Ahmed and Muhammad Farooq.
