Three killed in Orakzai over property dispute

HANGU: Three persons were killed in a clash over a property dispute in Kalaya in Orakzai Agency, official sources said on Wednesday.The sources said that first cousins had a property dispute in Kalaya in Orakzai Agency. “Two brothers Intizar Ali and Mirza Ali from one side and Mubasir Ali from the other side were killed when they exchanged fire,” the sources said.  The sources said that the dead were first cousins.

 

New procedure for domicile certificate criticised

MARDAN: District general secretary of Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) Mohammad Ijaz Khan Hoti advocate on Tuesday criticised the new procedure for acquiring domicile certificates. Talking to The News, Ijaz Hoti said the district administration had started a new procedure, under which affidavit on Rs100 stamp paper is required from students for domicile certificate. However, he added that more than Rs200 is spent on making the stamp paper and poor students cannot afford the amount.
