Barber of Elite Police killed in firing

NOWSHERA: A barber of the Elite Police Training Centre was killed after sustaining injuries in firing in Taru Jabba area on Wednesday.

Sikandar, a resident of Taru Jabba, told police that he was present at his home when heard about the scuffle between a shopkeeper Allauddin and a customer Saeed.He said that the shopkeeper opened fire on Saeed after an exchange of harsh words over some issue.

He said his relative Sadiqullah, who was working as barber at the Elite Police Training Centre, was separating the infighting men when he was hit by bullets in firing.He said that the victim sustained multiple bullet injuries and was rushed to a hospital in Peshawar where he succumbed to his injuries.

The police have registered a case and started an investigation.Meanwhile, the police have arrested a social media activist after he fired shots for a tik-tok video clip in the jurisdiction of Azakhel Police Station.The police recovered the pistol used for firing during filming a tiktok video and arrested Shahzad.
