‘PPP to be organised in Lahore’
LAHORE: PPP leader Hasan Murtaza has said that the PPP Lahore president will be nominated with the workers' advice and consensus. We will organise the party from Union Council level. According to a press release issued here on Tuesday, he was talking to federal council member Haji Azizur Rahman Chan, President of District One Zahid Zulfiqar and President of District Three Chaudhry Atif Rafiq at meetings in their respective districts.
PPP delegation visits Iranian consulate
PPP Central Punjab general-secretary Hasan Murtaza along with a PPP delegation on Tuesday visited the Iranian consulate in Lahore. According to a press release issued on Tuesday, Hassan Murtaza expressed condolences to acting Iranian Consul General Ali Asghar Moghari on the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian. He recorded his condolence message in the visitors' book at the Iranian Embassy.
