LAHORE:Punjab police raided 307 hideouts of drug dealers across the province, including Lahore during the last 24 hours.
The police registered 140 cases and arrested 144 drug pushers. According to the spokesman for Punjab Police, 23,910 raids were conducted on the hideouts of drug dealers since Feb 26. Around 11,137 FIRs were registered and 11,860 accused were arrested; 7,290kg hashish, 120kg heroin, 250kg opium, 37.290kg ice, 142,549 litre alcohol were recovered from the possession of the accused.
