Modern store management system inaugurated at Mayo

LAHORE: Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique inaugurated the modern Store Management System at Mayo Hospital on Thursday.

Vice Chancellor King Edward Medical University (KEMU) Prof Mahmood Ayaz, CEO Prof Ahsan Nauman, MS Mayo Hospital Prof Faisal Masood, Prof Abrar Ashraf, Prof Moin, Dr Salman Kazmi and a large number of other faculty members and doctors were present on this occasion. CEO Prof Ahsan Nauman informed the details about digital inventory.

The provincial minister on this occasion congratulated the management of Mayo Hospital for launching the modern store management software system in the hospital. There is a dire need for similar software in all hospitals for transparency in the system and ease of patients. This software will also be used in other hospitals, he added.

He said through the store management system, the updated information about current stock of medicines, medicines to be supplied and purchase order could be attained. This software will help a lot in saving manual work and HR, he added.

Prof Ahsan Nauman said that principals and MS have been appointed in various hospitals of Punjab purely on merit. We pay tribute to the doctors who have served for the Store Management System at Mayo Hospital. This real-time software will benefit not only at Mayo Hospital but the entire province, he said. KEMU Vice-Chancellor Prof Mahmood Ayaz on this occasion thanked the provincial health minister for attending the inaugural ceremony of modern Store Management System.
