NC’s delegation attends AFC congress
LAHORE: A three-member delegation of Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Normalisation Committee attended the 34th Congress of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) in Bangkok.
The delegation was led by NC’s chairman Haroon Malik and included Shahid Khokhar and Saud Hashmi. NC said in a press release that Pakistan’s delegation held meetings with the officials of the AFC and FIFA.
The statement said that NC’s delegation briefed the officials about the electoral progress in Pakistan. “FIFA and AFC officials have expressed their satisfaction over the development,” the statement said. “NC’s delegation also held meetings with the officials of football governing bodies of Qatar and Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Syria, Afghanistan and other nations,” the statement added.
