People deprived of valuables

PAKPATTAN

Citizens were deprived of cash and valuables in different areas of Pakpattan on Monday.

Abdul Rasheed and Muhammad Jafar were heading to vegetable market on a motorcycle. When they reached near Chak 19/SP, three robbers intercepted them near a bridge and snatched a cell phone, cash and motorcycle.

Gunmen snatched a motorcycle (PKK-4111), cash and a cell phone from Muhammad Atif near Pakpattan canal.

Some 12 bandits barged into the house of Muhammad Mansha of Chak 16/SP and held up all family members and took away cash, cell phones and other valuables.

Asad Ali of Shadab Colony, Pakpattan, drew his salary from bank and came out of the bank. Two motorcyclist gunmen snatched Rs 16,000 from him.

First year student Muhammad Usman of Chak 141/EB was coming back from Chak 149/EB on a motorbike when two robbers looted cash and a cell phone from him.

Dacoits barged into the shop of Shahzad Ahmad of Resham Galli, Arifwala, and took away cash and clothes.

Robbers took away eight cell phones from a car booking centre of Ghulam Muhammad of Thana Bazaar, Arifwala.

Ahmad Din parked his motorcycle (SLL-5618) outside a mosque in Qaboola Town and when he came back after offering the prayer he found the motorcycle missing. Police have registered cases.

KIDNAPPED: Two girls were kidnapped in two different incidents on Monday.

The 15-year-old daughter of Muhammad Ilyas of Chak 16-SP was coming back from her school when Rashid and his accomplice allegedly abducted her.

Irfan and his accomplices entered the house of Rao Akbar Aziz and abducted his niece. Police have registered cases.

PO ESCAPES: A proclaimed offender (PO) Monday escaped with the help of his accomplices.

On a tip-off, police Monday raided Chak 10/EB to arrest Aslam but he was alerted by his accomplice Nawaz and escaped. The police arrested Nawaz and registered a case against him.

DRUG PEDDLERS HELD: The police Monday arrested two alleged drug peddlers and recovered liquor from their possession.

Police arrested accused Ramazan of Chak 30/EB with five litre liquor and accused Shameer of Chak 15/SP with a pump-action shotgun. Police have registered cases.
