Two women injured as roof collapses

WANA: Two women were injured in a roof collapse incident in Tanai area in Wana tehsil of Lower South Waziristan district, family sources said.

It was learnt that the roof of the house of one Mohammad Adil Wazir collapsed due to heavy rains, injuring the women.The local people rushed to the spot after learning about the incident and rescued the women.

The injured women were identified as Zeenat Bibi, wife of Mohammad Adil Wazir and his sister Soria Bibi.The injured were rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital in Wana from where they were referred to a hospital in Dera Ismail Khan due to their critical condition.
