MULTAN: The South Punjab Department of School Education is organizing a Scout/Girls Guide Camp on May 7 in all girls and boys elementary, secondary, and higher secondary schools of the region to promote the mental, physical, and spiritual development and discipline of students, education officials said.

Dr. Obaidullah Khokhar, the South Punjab Secretary of School Education, has ordered a one-day scout/girls guide camp on May 7 in all girls and boys elementary, secondary, and higher secondary schools of South Punjab. The day is being observed in collaboration with the Divisional Scout Organizer / District Scout Secretary, where 9 students from each class will conduct activities in the camp, he said.

Students will receive training in first aid, and campfire practices, and participate in recitations, national songs, and cooking competitions. Outstanding performers in these competitions will be awarded medals and certificates of appreciation. Parents and prominent personalities from various fields will also be invited to the campuses. Students have been trained and informed about the camp procedures in preparation for the event. Dr. Obaidullah Khokhar, the South Punjab Secretary of School Education, emphasized that Scouting/Girls Guide is a movement that aids in the mental and physical development of students, enabling them to engage with society and play a constructive role.
