Court reserves verdict on Asad Umar plea

ISLAMABAD: Judicial Magistrate Shabbir Bhatti has reserved the verdict on the release plea of former finance minister Asad Umar in a May 9 case.
Asad along with his lawyer Sardar Masroof and Amna Ali appeared before the court. Amna said the allegation was to the extent of the applicant. There is no proof in the Challan. Arguments have given on the release plea to the extent of Asad.
The judge said he would give the order on the plea to the extent of Asad and reserved the verdict.
