PESHAWAR: A large number of people, including representatives of the local government, announced joining Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz here on Tuesday.
Addressing a press conference along with PMLN MPA Malik Tariq Awan, former nazim Qazi Killay Wasim Nawaz, former councillor Gul Sakhi, youth councillor Abdul Manan, Tasbihullah, former councillor Liaqat Ali, Malik Farid Awan and several others announced joining the PMLN.
Speaking on the occasion, Malik Tariq Awan said that Kamran Bangash had levelled baseless allegations against him. He said that the former lawmaker would have to prove the allegation in the court of law.
The voters of the PK-82 had rejected Kamran Bangash, he said, adding that his family had been in politics since 1996. The MPA said that Ali Amin Gandapur should focus on the welfare of the people.
“I had already suggested to the chief minister to engage in talks with the federal government. And I am ready to offer my services for facilitating the talks to solve issues facing the province,” he went on to add.
