Blind man gunned down

LAHORE:A 31-year-old blind man was gunned down in a house near Ali Chowk in Badami Bagh police area on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Anwar-ul-Haq. The shooter entered the house unnoticed, shot the blind man dead and escaped from the scene. The forensic team collected the evidence from the spot and shifted the body to the mortuary and started further investigation.

Suspect who opened fire on cops arrested

Nishtar Colony Investigation police arrested a suspect who had opened fire on the policemen. The police signaled the accused identified as Ali to stop for checking a few days ago, upon which he opened fire on the policemen and escaped. The accused was arrested with the help of modern technology.

Mutilated body found

A decapitated body was found in BRB Canal Batapur, sending shivers down the spines of those who stumbled upon the gruesome scene. The victim, a man of unknown identity, lay lifeless, his head brutally severed in what appeared to be a calculated attempt to conceal his identity. Passersby, going about their daily routines, were horrified to spot the ghastly sight and promptly alerted the police.

Delivery boy penalised

Traffic police apprehended a delivery boy who had repeatedly flouted traffic signals for the sake of speedy deliveries. This individual had been caught breaking the signal a staggering 28 times. As a consequence of his repeated violations, he incurred a substantial fine of over Rs 10,000, which was issued through an e-challan, reflecting the severity of his disregard for traffic regulations. Furthermore, the police confiscated the rider's documents and driving licence.
