Saifullah new president of IC Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: Senator Salim Saifullah has assumed charge as president of International Lawn Tennis Club of Pakistan, commonly known as IC Pakistan.
The change in the management of club has taken place due to the declining health of Saeed Ahmed, who has been the acting president of the IC since the passing of tennis legend Khawaja Saeed Hai.
The change in management of IC Pakistan was communicated to International Lawn Tennis Club London by Saeed Ahmed and Mrs Nasim Ahmad Secretary of IC Pakistan in an official correspondence to IC London.
“I will serve the club wholeheartedly as I have done as the president Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) for eight years. I am thankful to all those reposing trust in me,” Saifullah said. International Lawn Tennis Club-London has congratulated Senator Salim Saifullah Khan on his appointment as the president IC Pakistan. They have also extended him an invitation to attend the centenary celebrations of International Lawn Tennis Club in London, which he has accepted.
Saifullah has had an accomplished tennis career starting from captaining the Carnegie Mellon tennis team at the university level to being the President of Pakistan Tennis Federation from 2014-2024. Currently, he is the Patron of the Pakistan Tennis Federation, Senior Vice President of South Asia and Board Member of the Asian Tennis Federation. He is also a member of the ITF task force on the Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup Committee.
