LAHORE:Bringing a touch of heritage and elegance to the cityscape, a captivating stone craft store has opened its doors in our bustling urban landscape.

Founded by Noon and Co, a name synonymous with the preservation and revival of stone craft in Pakistan, the outlet follows the success of the Islamabad flagship studio.

Under the leadership of founder Taimur Noon, the company operates as an artisanal guild dedicated to the preservation and revival of the ancient Gandhara art of stone crafting in South Asia. Noon and Co. have earned recognition for their diverse stoneware products, including sinks, bathtubs, lighting, furniture, ornaments, and accessories.

Reflecting on the rich history of stone craft, Taimur Noon remarked, “A legacy oft-forgotten, it was the people of the Indian subcontinent who mastered the skill of stone craft. Originating in the Gandhara region, now predominantly located in northwest Pakistan, this style became known as Gandhara art.

Today, these stone-crafted masterpieces are showcased in museums across Europe, America, and Asia. Yet, this 2000-year-old artistic tradition faces the threat of extinction. At Noon and Co., we collaborate closely with generational Gandhara stonemasons, preserving the region’s elemental cultural heritage of Indo-Greek artistic traditions while reviving the diminishing art of expert craftsmanship in luxury stoneware.”
