German envoy’s disrespectful remarks condemned

Islamabad:In a stern rebuke to the German Ambassador, Mohammad Abdullah Gul, Chairman of Tehreek Jawawan Pakistan, condemned the diplomat's disrespectful remarks towards a Pakistani citizen on Pakistani soil during the Asma Jahangir conference on diplomatic etiquette.

Gul asserted that the ambassador's conduct violated diplomatic norms and called on the Pakistani foreign office to summon the ambassador and register the nation's protest. He demanded an apology from the ambassador, warning of nationwide student protests if his demands are not met.
