Body formed to examine LG Act 2022

LAHORE:The Punjab government has constituted a 21-member committee to amend the existing Local Government Act 2022.

Minister for Local Government Zeeshan Rafique Malik has been nominated as convener of the committee. The committee has been assigned a task to examine the existing Local Government Act. The committee has been asked to submit its proposal for either fresh draft or amendments in the existing LG Act 2022. In this regard the committee would furnish the proposals to the CM within two weeks.
