CM’s aide slams Punjab CM for donning police uniform
PESHAWAR: Adviser to Chief Minister on Information and Public Relations Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif on Friday said that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz should focus on the wellbeing of the people of her province instead of acting like the ‘drama queen’.
He said that she had released a new episode by assuming the role of a police officer.
“The fake chief minister Punjab is entertaining the people,” he said.
He expressed these views in a video while reacting to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s wearing of police uniform. Barrister Saif said that Maryam Nawaz was providing entertainment to the people of Punjab. He said that dramas did not fill people’s stomachs. She should take some practical measures to provide relief to the people, he remarked.
The CM’s aide said that wearing the uniform of law-enforcement agencies was a violation of the law. He maintained that the first information report should be registered against Maryam Nawaz.
He added that Maryam Nawaz should focus on public projects like KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur. She staged a new drama by appearing as a police woman officer in the new episode, he remarked.“When the clown enters the palace, he does not become a sultan, and the palace becomes a circus,” he said.
