Meeting discusses restructuring of LDA
LAHORE: Lahore Development Authority Director General Tahir Farooq chaired an important meeting at LDA office on Thursday. A detailed briefing was given about the proposed restructuring of the LDA in the meeting. CEO CBD Imran Ameen also attended the key meeting.
It was decided in the meeting that CBD will provide support in carrying out corporate sector style reforms in LDA. Both institutions, according to the instructions of Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz, will work together for revenue generation, efficiency improvement and promote investment in the provincial capital.
LDA DG said that LDA officers and staff will undergo modern refresher training courses on new market trends. He also indicated about proposing necessary amendments in the LDA Act for the convenience of investors and ease of doing business. LDA DG said that according to the changing trends of the market, the investors have to be facilitated. Later, LDA DG, along with CEO CBD Imran Ameen, visited the One Window Cell, where he was briefed about the ongoing reforms and revamping in One Window Cell.
