On special instructions of KWSC CEO Engineer Syed Salahuddin Ahmed, taking another important step regarding the welfare of employees, the medical system of the water corporation will be digitised from July 1, 2024.
According to KWSC officials, better medical facilities will be provided to all present and retired employees under the medical digitization system. In this regard, the officials of the medical department further said that under the medical digitization system the employees will be provided the best medical facilities in 15 different good hospitals, laboratories and stores of the city through the digital medical card.
CEO Ahmed said that Dow Hospital and Laboratory is temporarily closed due to some issues and in this regard negotiations with the Dow management are ongoing. “God willing, Dow hospital and laboratory services will be fully restored by next week.”
He said that Patel Hospital and Essa Laboratory are starting their service from Tuesday on the panel of the KWSC, while Safi Hospital will start its service in two days. In addition to this, five different branches of Al-Khidmat Hospital for out station employees will also start their service on the KWSC panels in the next two days. Ahmed said solving all the problems of the serving and retired employees of the KWSC, including providing them with better medical facilities, is one of our top priorities.
