Housemaid found dead
Islamabad:A 16-year-old housemaid was found dead under mysterious circumstances in a posh locality of the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, the police sources said Wednesday.
The housewife claimed that her housemaid committed suicide due to unknown reasons, while, the heirs of the victim insisted that her employers killed her. They alleged that the employers were now trying to twist the case by claiming that she committed suicide.
The sister of the victim hailing from Nankana Sabib, complained to the police saying that her sister was working as a housemaid for a couple of years against a salary of RS18,000. She said that the employers of her sister informed her on the telephone that she committed suicide by hanging herself with the ceiling fan.
Casting off the claim of the employers about the housemaid committing suicide, she said that her sister was tortured to death by her employers and now they are trying to twist the case. The police, however, have taken up the case and shifted the dead body to a hospital for post-mortem to ascertain the facts and rounded up some people for investigation.
