LAHORE:Kot Lakhpat police apprehended a man on charges of blackmailing a girl here on Wednesday. PSCA received a call on the emergency helpline from the affected girl. According to the girl, the blackmailer had uploaded her videos on TikTok and threatened her with dire consequences. The Safe City team traced the culprit through cameras and sent the Kot Lakhpat police to the location. Police arrested the accused.
10 die in road accidents
The Emergency Services Department (ESD) responded to 1,237 road traffic accidents in all districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours. In these accidents, 10 people died, whereas 1,338 were injured. Out of these, 634 people with serious injuries were shifted to different hospitals, while 704 victims with minor injuries were treated on the spot by Rescue medical teams.
