The intra-party elections of the Awami National Party's (ANP) Sindh chapter would be held today (Tuesday) at Bacha Khan Markaz, the party's provincial headquarters in Karachi's Banaras neighborhood, the party announced on Monday.
Mian Iftikhar Hussain, the central secretary general of ANP and head of the party's election commission, has arrived in Karachi to oversee the process. During these elections, party councillors would elect the provincial leadership for the next four years, according to Dost Muhammad, the ANP's Sindh spokesperson.
Muhammad emphasised the ANP's commitment to transparent elections, ensuring party workers had the right to elect their leaders without pressure or discrimination.
