LAHORE: Sports Board Punjab (SBP) has planned to conduct sports competitions of special children and women’s Pink Games in the coming weeks.
In this regard, Director General Youth Affairs Punjab Pervez Iqbal has directed the officers concerned to submit a comprehensive plan to organize these events in a befitting manner. In a statement Pervez Iqbal said that our women have plenty of sports potential and the Pink Games will play an important role in nurturing women's sports talent. “We are quite upbeat to find out several talented female athletes through organizing Pink Games”. He further said that the large-scale sports competitions of special children will be held for the first time in the province. “Special children are a valuable part of our society and we are planning to hold several sports events for them”.
