Woman, alleged paramour shot dead in Swat

MINGORA: A man shot dead his wife along with her alleged paramour in the Kanju Dherai area of Swat district on Monday.

The police said that Abu Zar, a resident of Bishbanr Manglor, and a woman named Jameela were having a meal at a hotel in Kanju Dherai when the woman’s husband along with another accomplice reached the venue and opened fire, killing both the woman and the man.

The police took prompt action and arrested both the suspects, the husband, Aabidullah of Dir, and the girl’s brother Sher Dil, from Kabal tehsil, along with weapons of the offense.The police registered a case against the culprits and initiated an investigation. The bodies were shifted to Kabal Hospital for post-mortem examination.
