ISLAMABAD: After a brief disruption, internet service was restored in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and other parts of the country on Tuesday noon.
There is no official word on the cause of the brief internet connectivity outage. However, experts insist a malfunctioning underwater cable might have caused the issue. Disruption in the internet service provided by the Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) was also reported as documented by Downdetector, an online resource that provides real-time data on a variety of websites and services.
Other services of the platform were also affected. Internet outage was reported twice in the last two months.
