The Rawalpindi-Islambad Metrobus service offers a very comfortable and relatively cheap mode of transport to local residents. That public buses did not have to be a crowded toaster on wheels but could have ACs without overcharging commuters was unfathomable in prior this service being launched. Credit goes to the PML-N which, as far as I am aware, initiated and completed this project. That being said, signs of neglect are beginning to creep in, perhaps due to budget constraints. Some of the paths dedicated for the buses are developing cracks and potholes which are not being repaired. If the dedicated paths continue to be neglected, the bus network might face substantial losses. The concerned authorities should start repairs immediately.
