ISLAMABAD: Significant progress has been made in the investigation of suspicious letters to the Supreme Court and High Court judges.

According to the sources, the CTD has received the forensic report of the handwriting on the letters, which matched the letters to judges of the Supreme Court, Islamabad and Lahore High Court.

According to the forensic report, the letters to the judges of the three courts were written by the same person.

The letters were written by the same person in the name of Resham, Reshman and Gulshad Khatun. Letters sent to all the three courts were sent from the same post office.

The CTD sources said that there was only one mastermind who sent the threatening letters to judges. The arsenic in the letters to the judges was also bought by the same person. The CTD has also come very close from where the arsenic in the letters was purchased.

According to the sources, the process of identifying the CCTV videos obtained from spots near the post boxes is going on with Nadra.
