LAHORE: The volleyball community mourns the loss of former captain Chaudhry Rafiq, a beloved figure and national hero, who passed away at the age of 83 in Lahore.
Rafiq’s lifelong dedication to the sport of volleyball earned him widespread recognition and admiration, culminating in a gold medal for Pakistan in the Asian Games. His legacy as a modest and dedicated athlete will forever be remembered by those whose lives he touched.
Chaudhry Muhammad Rafiq’s passion for volleyball remained unwavering throughout his life, serving as a constant companion and source of fulfillment.
The funeral prayer for the departed soul were offered at 7:00 pm at Sadiq Colony, Habibullah Road, Lahore, allowing friends, family, and admirers to pay their respects.
