MWM to observe Yaum Al Quds on Friday
The Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) Sindh has announced it will observe Jumma tul Wada on 25th Ramzan as Yaum Al Quds.
In this regard, President MWM Sindh Allama Baqir Abbas Zaidi held a press conference at the Karachi Press Club along with Maulana Hayat Abbas Najafi, Maulana Malik Abbas, Allama Mubasher Hassan and other leaders.
On this occasion, he demanded of the federal government to observe Yaum Al Quds officially. He added that since the start of Storm Al Aqsa on 7 October 2024 the illegitimate state of Israel has ruined the territory of Gaza through severe airstrikes. In this act of brutality, more than 30,000 Palestinians have been killed of whom 22,000 are women and innocent children while 75,000 people have been injured.
He further said that 200 aid workers belonging to various countries have also been martyred in Gaza. He also urged humanity and the Pakistani nation to step forward to help the people of Gaza to save their lives as well as provide them with life necessities including food and medicine on an urgent basis because 170,000,000 Palestinians are forced to live without shelter at Rafah Crossing. He saluted the courage of the oppressed people of Palestine who did not bow down to Israel. He reiterated the demand for a complete and permanent ceasefire in Gaza and the rebuilding of the destroyed houses and buildings. He said all Muslim countries whether Arab or non-Arab should take part in rebuilding Gaza and cut off their ties with Israel.
He again said that the entire Pakistani nation follows the footprints of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Dr. Muhammad Iqbal regarding the Palestinian issue and will never accept Israel at any cost.
