Absconding suspect in indecent video scandal arrested
Police claimed on Wednesday to have arrested a suspect four months after his involvement in a scandal involving an inappropriate video with the principal of a Gulshan-e-Hadeed school.
The investigation police apprehended the suspect, Kashif Shah, who is a relative of the main suspect, Irfan Memon. The police stated that Shah collaborated with a local TV mechanic to make the video go viral.
The main accused, Memon, confessed during the interrogation that Shah had made the video viral. Shah’s name was included in the case, and the perpetrator went into hiding to avoid arrest.
The suspect was arrested from the Malir area. Four months ago, several inappropriate videos involving different women surfaced in the school. Principal Irfan allegedly lured women with job prospects and engaged in inappropriate behaviour. A case was filed against Memon at the Steel Town police station, and he was arrested. Further investigations are underway.
