PESHAWAR: A delegation of traders on Monday apprised the officials of the Cantonment Board of the problems and suggested resolution through collaborative efforts.
A press release said the delegation from the traders, led by the President of the Peshawar Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries Ghulam Bilal Javed met with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Cantonment Board Peshawar, Irfan Ahmed.
Both side various issues related to trade and commerce, emphasizing the need for an immediate resolution to prevailing challenges through collaboration.Ghulam Bilal Javed highlighted ongoing and proposed projects in Peshawar Cantonment and its surrounding areas, stressing the importance of addressing trade-related issues.
CEO Irfan Ahmed assured the delegation of prompt action on trade-related matters and pledged to address the issues.He emphasized the importance of addressing professional tax matters and undertaking initiatives to improve infrastructure and security measures, including the restoration of streetlights, installation of surveillance cameras, and strict enforcement against illegal parking and encroachments.
The CEO expressed his commitment to implementing solutions based on the recommendations and suggestions put forth by President Ghulam Bilal Javed and other members of the delegation. He assured them that efforts would be made to resolve the issues effectively and provide necessary facilities to the business community.
