MANSEHRA: A man killed his wife for honour in the Sherpur area in the wee hours of Sunday.Riga Alam, whose family had recently been shifted here from Chilas (Gilgit-Baltistan), killed his wife and managed to flee.

Bakhmal Jaht lodged the first information report with Khaki Police Station saying that his brother Riga Alam killed his wife for honour in one of the rooms of their house and managed

to flee.

The Khali police after lodging the FIR started raids to arrest the suspect.Meanwhile, the police have booked eight persons who had attacked and seriously injured a woman and his brother in the Galli Badral area of Oghi.

According to the FIR lodged with the police in Oghi, the accused Jehanzeb, Faizan Khan, Sarfaraz Khan, Mohammad Tariq, Khan Mohammad, Mohammad Abbas, Mohammad Mohsan and Mohammad Noman attacked and seriously injured a woman and his brother when they were present at their home over a domestic issue and managed to flee.
