Man allegedly kills wife in Nowshera
NOWSHERA: A man allegedly killed his wife over a petty issue in Pabbi town, police said on Sunday.One Habib, son of Gul Hameed, belonging to Afghanistan told the police that he was present at home along with other family members when his father Gul Hameed killed his mother over a petty issue. He said that his father opened fire on his mother with a pistol and killed her on the spot.
Swinging into action, the police arrested the accused Gul Hameed and recovered the pistol used in the crime. The police registered the first information report against the accused and started investigation.
Meanwhile, the police handed over the body of a man to his family members after identification. The police had recovered the body which had been dumped on the bank of the River Kabul in Nowshera.The deceased Zahid Iqbal, son of Mohammad Iqbal, had gone missing on March 26.
