Sindh Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf President Haleem Adil Sheikh said on Wednesday that the letter of six Islamabad High Court judges sent to the Supreme Judicial Council has made it clear that injustice is being committed.

Speaking to journalists at the city courts, Sheikh criticised what he termed injustices and unfair treatment against PTI founder Imran Khan, alleging that all cases against him were based on lies.

He urged Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa to take immediate suo moto action to restore public confidence in the judiciary.

Regarding the judges’ complaints, Sheikh said the spree of injustices against Khan started after May 9, 2023, leading to more than 200 cases lodged against him, and PTI’s senior leadership and workers were arrested in fake and fabricated cases.

He emphasized the need for lawyers to step forward to save the country from this situation. Sheikh said massive rigging took place in the General Election 2024, alleging that the PTI’s 22 National Assembly seats in Karachi and Hyderabad as well as 38 provincial assembly seats from across Sindh were snatched away.

He claimed to have possessed all Form 45s for all these seats and stated that they have already gone to the tribunal established in the Sindh High Court.

He asserted that they have won 183 National Assembly seats nationwide but have been unfairly targeted. Sheikh demanded immediate action from the judiciary to ensure justice and demanded closure of all cases against Khan according to the law.
