PARACHINAR: The Pak-Afghan border at Kharlachi terminal in Kurram district has been reopened for trade and movement after six days.

Deputy Commissioner Javedullah Mehsud stated that trade activities with Afghanistan at the Kharlachi terminal had resumed.

The border had been closed on Monday, after firing exchanges following an attack of mortar shells from Afghanistan Boreki village in Kurram district.

The decision to reopen the Afghan border was made after successful negotiations between officials.
