PDMA stresses prudent water management measures
LAHORE: Director General Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Irfan Ali Kathia stressed prudent water management measures to save the water for future generation.
According to the PDMA spokesperson, the DG on the occasion of World Water Day on Friday highlighted the importance of water, saying the water has become the most important issue of the present time in the world.
He said the theme of World Water Day 2024 is Water for Peace and the PDMA would take measures to resolve the issues of saving water for future use with the support of the Punjab government.
He said Water for Peace slogan means provision of water and sanitation facilities to everyone by 2030.He said the conservation of water reservoirs and their proper use was the onus of every citizen.
