DG RDA visits vulnerable places of Nullah Leh
She warned that no slackness or negligence would be tolerated
Rawalpindi: Director General Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Kinza Murtaza Friday visited Nullah Leh and inspected various vulnerable and sensitive places.
According to the spokesperson for RDA, the DG inspected the population around the nullah and directed the disposal of debris and encroachments on both the banks.She further directed that the public should be prevented from throwing trash and debris in the nullah and complete care should be taken for cleanliness.
She directed that the difficulties encountered in the Nullah Lai project be resolved in advance so that the residents living on the nullah banks and in the low-lying areas could be protected from the rainwater and flash floods.
She warned that no slackness or negligence would be tolerated. Chief Engineer RDA Muhammad Anwar Baran, Director Land, Director Engineering Muhammad Kamran and other staff were present on this occasion.
