KU to hold Senate elections on Tuesday

The elections for the Syndicate of the University of Karachi from the Senate constituency will be held on Tuesday, April 30, at the Chinese Teacher Memorial Auditorium (formerly Arts Auditorium), from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm.
This was announced by KU Registrar and Returning Officer for the elections, Prof Dr Abdul Waheed, in a statement issued on Thursday. Waheed mentioned that two members of the Senate would be elected to the Syndicate. He added that the nomination papers can be submitted by candidates by 1pm on Tuesday, April 16, in the Registrar’s Office.
He said candidates can withdraw their nomination papers by Tuesday, April 23, until 1pm. The final list of candidates will be issued after 4pm on the same day, he said.
