LAHORE :In continuation of a crackdown on smuggled goods, a Customs team raided a godown here and seized foreign origin cloth of gents suiting/shirting and other varieties in rolls worth Rs97 million.
As per detail, an information was received by Director General Intelligence and Investigation-Customs Faiz Ahmad Chadhar regarding presence of huge quantity of smuggled foreign origin fabric.
Resultantly, Director-Customs Intelligence Lahore Haris Ansari and Additional Director Rizwan Bashir constituted a team under the supervision of DD ASO Yawar Hayat. The team raided the godown and seized smuggled foreign origin cloth of gents suiting/shirting and other varieties in rolls worth Rs97 million. A case was lodged against the owners/proprietors.
