Over 40 tear gas shells found in Keamari trash dump
Police on Monday found dozens of tear gas shells in a garbage dump on an empty plot in Keamari. The locals spotted the shells and informed MPA Asif Khan, who reached the site for inspection.
The lawmaker later told the media that dozens of tear gas shells were found in the rubbish dump on a KPT plot in Keamari. Due to garbage burning, the tear gas shells also caught fire and caused breathing difficulties in the residents, while some even lost consciousness.
The Jackson police moved all the shells found in the trash dump to the police station. Police said that the number of shells found is more than 40. Officials claimed that the shells do not pose a threat to the police. They also claimed that such shells are not used by the police. Police said that investigation into the incident is under way.
