CHITRAL: Former ambassador Muhammad Aslam Khan, who had passed away the other day, was laid to rest at his native town in Shogram on Sunday.
Muhammad Aslam Khan, who had represented Pakistan as ambassador in several countries, was hailing from Shogram village. He was the first officer from Chitral, who had joined foreign service. After retirement from service, he went to Kuwait where he lived till his last breath. Deputy Commissioner Upper Chitral Muhammad Irfanuddin along with other staff attended the funeral prayer for the deceased.
