Three killed in Nowshera road mishap

Police have taken the driver of the dumper truck into custody and started an investigation after registering the case

NOWSHERA: Three persons were killed and another sustained injuries when a speeding motorcycle and a dumper truck collided in Darwazgai area on Nizampur-Khairabad road on Sunday.

Tilawat Shah, a resident of Mian Issa, told police that his brother Mir Ali along with his nephews Hamza and Hastam Khan and a labourer Abdur Rahman were coming home on their bike after working in the fields.

He said that when they reached a filling station in Darwazgai area, the motorcycle they were riding and a dumper truck collided.

As a result, Mir Ali and Abdur Rahman were killed on the spot while Hamza and Hastan Khan sustained serious injuries.

The injured were shifted to the Qazi Hussain Ahmad Medical Complex where Hamza also succumbed to his injuries.

The police have taken driver of the dumper truck into custody and started an investigation after registering the case.
