PLF hails SC judgment in ZA Bhutto case
PESHAWAR: People’s Lawyers Forum has hailed the recent judgment of the Supreme Court of Pakistan in the ZA Bhutto case, stating that the history has been corrected.
A general body meeting of the People’s Lawyers Forum, Peshawar chapter, was convened at the Khatme Nabowwat Hall in the premises of the district courts.
The meeting was jointly presided over by the PLF provincial president Gohar Rehman Khattak and PLF Peshawar president Syed Shakil Khan Gillani. PLF provincial general secretary Lajbar Khan Khalil, senior members Jamal Khattak, Wali Khan Afridi, divisional president Jameel Warsak, a large number of lawyers and other people participated in the meeting. The stage was anchored by Ashfaq Akhundkhel, general secretary of PLF Peshawar chapter.
The meeting also deliberated on the upcoming elections of the district bar and the high court bar Peshawar.Committees were formed for the forthcoming elections of the district bar, and the meeting resolved to fully support the panel of the grand alliance in the upcoming elections of the district and high court bar.
