LAHORE: Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that education sector should not be run in a non-productive and directionless manner.

The chief minister stated this while chairing a meeting on Higher Education Scholarships and I-Pad Scheme. She added educational institutions would be equipped on modern lines. She expressed her indignation over the incomplete briefing of PEEF, and sought a comprehensive plan from them about PEEF scholarship programme.

She directed to redesign the scholarship scheme afresh. The CM also directed to conduct a student survey before the launch of I-Pad and Laptop scheme. She said that we would decide to distribute I-Pads and laptops after ascertaining needs of the students, because their feedback is highly imperative in this regard.
